This model was never made by Dalí (contrary to the contract concluded with Mr. Leinekugel in 1971). The work is based on the painting « Sevrage du meuble aliment ». Dalí described what he wanted to Robert Descharnes who had the model made with Qu Art according to those instructions.
In 2003 Qu Art did a night table measuring 76 x 81 x 50 cm in only 12 copies.
There are 150 multiple sculptures measuring 43 x 45 x 22 cm.
