At the back of the left calf: signature « Salvador Dalí », stamp of Fonderia Bonvicini and numbering 1/8 to 8/8 and EA I/IV to EA IV/IV.
A wax model of the Surrealistic Angel about 40 cm high was created from Salvador Dalí’s paintings at the Dalí Museum in Figueras.
These models for the Surrealistic Angel and the Cubist Angel were done by M. Thévenin and corrected by Dalí.
In 1992, enlargements of the originals were made by a Dali craftsman in Verona (Fonderia Bonvicini), and controlled by Robert Descharnes. These were based on the was model and Dalí’s painting.
The multiple cast (76 x 38 x 22 cm) is a reduction of the original made in Verona and controlled by Robert Descharnes.

450 multiple bronze sculptures were cast. The signature « Salvador Dalí » and the numbering are located on the right buttock.
