Signature of « Salvador Dalí » and numbering …/990 on the left inside the head.
This sculpture is an interpretation of Dalí’s painting « Beethoven’s head » in the Dalí Museum in Figueras.
Dalí never saw this sculpture; it was done by a craftsman and finalized with the help and approval of Robert Descharnes in keeping with the instructions given by Dalí at the signature of the contract.
There is no original, since Dalí did not make the model.
The number of multiple sculptures is limited to 990.
